allsopp on board for tory reviewThe Conservatives, attempting to inject a bit of glamour into proceedings, have recruited the assistance of the one and only Kirstie Allsopp as part of their investigation into the house-buying process.

The Tories will investigate the trials and tribulations that Britons go through in buying a home in an attempt to better co-ordinate policies with real problems.

Ms Allsopp, for her part, has insisted that her interests lie with the average Briton rather than any particular political party.

"I vote home-buyer, it's as simple as that. I think I have a responsibility to do this. I'll go with the politicians who make this process easier, because at the moment it is massively stressful for people," the Location, Location, Location presenter told the Observer newspaper.

Ms Allsopp is a high profile opponent of Home information packs [Hips], having protested against their introduction earlier this year, and again singled them out as a "mistake" in the interview.

The Tories themselves said earlier this month that they too would get rid of the packs were they to come to power.
